With over two decades of experience in corporate strategy for healthcare and life sciences, I've learned that the biggest challenge isn't technical - it's communication. How do you help organizations grow revenue while staying true to their mission?
I started my career in market research before moving into drug development, clinical trials, and launch strategies, working with companies that were literally saving lives but struggling to effectively communicate their value to patients, providers, and stakeholders.
That's when I realized that traditional sales approaches felt wrong for mission-driven organizations.
As the founder of SponsorMotion, I revolutionized how healthcare companies connect with professionals, patients, and key opinion leaders through meaningful relationships rather than transactional interactions. This experience taught me that the best "sales" doesn't feel like selling at all - it feels like service delivery.
Now I apply this insight across healthcare, nonprofits, patient advocacy groups, and other purpose-driven organizations. My diagnostic approach helps them identify what's really blocking their growth (usually it's not what they think), and then I provide the right level of support - whether that's strategic advisory, hands-on coaching, or stepping into a fractional CMO role.
The breakthrough moment comes when organizations stop seeing sales as something that conflicts with their mission and start seeing it as something that advances it. When you realize that if you can't reach the people who need your services, you're actually failing them - everything changes.
I also teach persuasive communications and consultative sales at Boston University's Questrom School of Business and mentor emerging professionals in both corporate and startup environments.
When I'm not working, you'll find me enjoying a great meal, reading a book, or striking up a conversation with the nearest dog on the sidewalk.
Just ask!
Coming soon. :)
